Fucking Hero

I went to see 'Ponyo' with Teresa and Cara yesterday. I was just going to take Cara but Teresa has a thing for randomly inviting herself along to our plans. Plus, she was all sore and swollen and miserable from having dental implants put in so she wanted to come to cheer herself up. The movie was really cute and Izzy would have loved it; it was a shame she was at her dad's that day (for once).
Afterwards Teresa suggested we get some food since Cara said she was hungry but Cara was being annoying because she didn't want her mum still hanging around and muscling in on out day out in town (understandable but still no reason to act like a pain in the arse). After about an hour of milling about in various cafes (not only are they possibly the slowest and most indecisive people alive, Teresa and Cara also never seem to eat anything subsantial; pretty much existing on croissants and posh tea) Teresa had a bit of a freak out at Cara and went off on her own. For the rest of the afternoon, Cara was still in an annoying mood (and also probably feeling a bit guilty) so it wasn't particularly fun. I was really hungry and didn't particularly care about their antics so I took Cara with me to get some Chinese food, then we milled around the town for a bit and had some ice cream. Meh, it was an okay day.
I don't have any gigs to go to this week! I thought there was another round of Mabel Wong and Blue Sab but it's not 'til next week - boo. There are a few movies on for the film fest I'd like to see at the weekend but I'll have to wait and see how I'm fixed babysitter-wise. Lately I've been experimenting with felt - it's been fun but I need to buy more before I can make anything worthwhile.
Oh, I got onto the office skills course. I'm not surprised as I'm quite overqualified but it's still good as it will hopefully help me with the whole job situation (or lack thereof). I checked out Izzy's after school club and they have places for both before and after school - yay. It's going to be expensive though given that I'm skint at the best of times though. I think I'll have the money for it but no cash left over for fun antics - boo.
I miss nights out - I haven't been out clubbing since new year! Jenna invited me out to Slabs on Saturday but I said no because I was trying not to spend too much money (I'd just paid Cara's cinema ticket for the next day) and Slabs is a bit expensive given that I don't really enjoy it that much. Plus Jenna just usually gets drunk and moons over Martin (or gets off with him) - it's not really as fun as a night out with just the girls or the uni gang, or even Ava and her friends. I miss Kmac, think I'll text her and see if she fancies lunch this week.

The Tape Runs Out, Or The Machine Ceases To Operate
Jan. 31st, 2010 | 10:34 pm
I made my eye test appointment, it's on Tuesday. Cara said I will not look right with glasses (I don't think she was born by the time I stopped wearing them as a teen) but I pointed out I will probably only need them for reading and they will make me (appear) more intelligent!
I went to see The Ex and Brass Unbound last night at the CCA. I had to hand around for a while before it opened (one day I will learn my lesson and not turn up to a Cry Parrot gig on time since they always run later than advertised) so I was hanging over the balcony watching all the people in the bar/ restaurant area below. Mostly everyone were arty/ studenty types but there was one middle aged couple there drinking wine. They were doing all the mirroring body language and sitting so close they were practically in each other's laps. Also, I'm 90% sure that just before the woman got up to use the lavs, she took a note out of her bra so the guy could buy more drinks! I don't dig overly intimate behavior in public anyway but although this was particularly horrific, it was oddly compelling to watch. I had to turn away when they went in for a snog though - that was more than I could handle.
( Photos from the gig. )
That gig was pretty fun, but I don't think it was half as good as the £2 one last week. I'm heading out to see Blue Sab again tomorrow night opening for Railcars with Mabel Wong. I think Jenna's coming too - yay! - I miss her and Kmac so much. Kmac has been on a uni trip to Berlin and Jenna has just been working 24/7 but it feels like I haven't seen them in ages (though in reality it's only been about 2 weeks). I may also have convinced Jamie to come; he apparently was bribed/ blackmailed into quitting his job on Friday so hopefully a healthy dose of cake and noise will help cheer him up.
Oh, and I came across another random gig crowd photo; this time of me and Sandy enjoying Ultimate Thrush - woop!

Today I was at an interview to get on an office skills type course. Part of it is a placement to I would get some much needed work experiance as well as mad office skillz. The only downside is that I have to be there from 9 to 4.30 on weekdays when Izzy is at school from 9 til 3.15. I could hopefully get her into the breakfast club at her school which starts about 8 in the morning but I think they are less likely to have places after school. Oh well, no harm in finding out, I can't do anything until next week anyway now. The course starts on the 15th.
I'm going to try and get my eyes tested in the next few days too. I think it as a good idea timewise. I'm pretty sure I need some glasses because I have difficulty focusing sometimes when I'm tired or it's late. Sometimes I feel my right eye going a bit squiggly too.
On Wednesday I was at a random last minuite gig at the Captain's Rest. It was only £2 entry and Blue Sab were playing, so yeah.
( I have semi-decent pictures of Blue Sab at last! )
Still LOVELOVELOVELOVE Blue Sab. I am planning on seeing them again on Monday - word is Laurie Pitt (or "Pitt the Elder as I so amusingly referred to him this evening, hohohohoho) will be guesting on drums with them since he is also playing with The Ballad Of Mabel Wong that night. Plus the cake stall should be there - could I even ask for anything more?!
In dull-to-everyone-but-me piercing news, I can leave my plugs out overnight without the holes tightening too much to get them back in in the morning now. I sorta had to start taking them out at night actually because I kept finding one of my double flared plugs had fallen out in my sleep last week. Still, feels good to have those holes properly established at their size.
Oh, and we got the heating fixed btw. The heating engineer guy came up and said "it just needs more water" and fixed the wee tap which puts more water into our boiler (previously broken by another heating engineer guy). He was only here two minutes, thank goodness it's all working again though. It snowed again today, not a lot, just a crazy flurry this morning. Still chilly out though.

The Cry Parrot fest last night was so good. I enjoyed all the bands who played and there are a couple that I'd definately like to see again. I was also really happy with my new camera which picked up lots of light in the dark venues and performed very well given that the battery was extremely low and kept cutting out.
Tangles were on first in the Social Centre; they were kind of shoegaze-ish experimental indie (okay, I don't really know what I'm talking about when it comes to music genres, so that's the best I can do). It was cool and nice to listen to. At the end of the set there was a few seconds of silence then somebody at the back shouted "hooray!" and everyone started clapping - it was great.
Xavier and the Bastard were on first downstairs in the 13th Note. They were two guys ("I'm Xavier and this guy is the biggest bastard I know") with a drumkit, bass guitar and a bunch of effects. I thought they were absolutely ace and might very well turn out to be one of my favourites of 2010 (like this year's Ultimate Thrush)!
Speaking of UT, Laurie Pitt's new band; Thoth was on next in which Laurie was (gasp) playing guitar! He had two girls (they both had short curly ginger hair - I think they were quite possibly related) playing another guitar and drums and they were all doing a bit of screaming/ yelling. I'm a bit wary of noise-ish bands with female singers because they seem to easily end up sounding like a hentai film but Thoth didn't sound like that at all, which was good. I don't have any pictures of them though; as I said, the battery was really low and I was trying to conserve it as much as possible so I thought I'd get a few snaps during the second song, once I'd seen how they were moving - but they only played one (quite long) tune so I was scuppered.
Dam Mantle was a experimental electro hip-hip kinda band. I thought they were great and at one point the "grumpy guy" (see below) was playing a melodica - 'nuff said. Ug! were the last band on the social centre. They were experimental prog-ish rock I suppose; good and some bits were fairly catchy but not really my thing.
Bird Names from Chicago were on last and were by far the most experianced band on the line-up (they were playing for the first time in the UK while Dam Mantle had played only a few local shows and it was all the other band's fist ever gig). They were catchy and everyone was really warmed up by then so a bunch of people were dancing and so on. There was a chant of "wan mare tune" when they were finished but there was no time, plus there were lots of police around because this happened right outside and we all ended up getting chucked out throught the fire door because the main one was within the area cornered off with police tape - oh Glasgow!
( Pictures )
While I was there I got some biscuits from Helen's Cake Stall for myself, Kmac and Jenna to eat at the cinema today (since they couldn't make it to the gig). Helen is the girlfriend of the guy who runs Cry Parrot and makes really yummy cakes and biscuits - they are almost worth attending the gigs alone. The cinema was fun today and this time thankfully nothing happened to interrupt out viewing peasure. The movie itself was pretty cheesy but still enjoyable and I think Jenna was happy with David Tennant's role as the baddie (and who am I to doubt her expertise?).
I want to start watching Bing Human - partly because the girl who played Sugar in Sugar Rush is in it and I loved that programme but I also Russel Tovey is quite cool and think the show could be good fun - BUT I completely missed the first series and would rather see that first. Bums, I hate it when that happens.

I went to see Dead Swans last night. It was not bad but made me feel so old. I have a ticket for Polar Bear Club with Shook Ones at the start of March already, after that I may lay off the hardcore gigs for the most part. I don't enjoy that kind of music as much as I used to and Cry Parrot's gigs are owning me these days anyway.
( Dead Swans )
Speaking of Cry Parrot, their New Year Fest is on tomorrow night and I'm really looking forward to it. The only thing is that half the bands are on at the Glasgow Social Centre and half are next door at the 13th Note (they were supposed to all be on at the Social Centre but they double booked one of their rooms). Obviously you can go back and forth between the venues but I'd like to see at least some of all 6 bands and that might be a bit of a baw if they're on at clashing times.
Today I was in town and bought some coloured paper. That's pretty much the only non-misic geek thing I can think of to say, sorry.

Night Crawler, Midnight Caller

I've had a horrible cold for the past week or so. I was actually still a bit grotty since the week before ATP (approx a month ago) so when the blocked nose went away and was replaced with a cough, I thought it was going away at last - but no, I just got a whole other cold which is hopefully on it's way out now.
Me, Jenna and Kmac went to see the St Trinians movie last week but after about 40 mins of trailers/ ads and only 10 mins of movie, the fire alarm went off and we had to be evacuated out the back. When we got outside it was apparent a pipe had burst either in the cinema or next door in Driftwood (or somewhere between the two). Jenna has all our ticket stubs safely in her purse so we're gonna try going again on Sunday.
The following Friday, I manged to convince Jenna to come along to the Cry Parrot secret gig (Sandy was also there with some of his friends and Martin randomly came for no reason apart from Jenna was there and it was round the corner from his flat) which turned out to be held at Laurie Pitt from Ultimate Thrush/ Ballad of Mabel Wong/ etc.'s place. The first band, Hellhesten was okay but more just noises than 'noise'. Blue Sabbath Back Fiji were awesome as always. Jenna didn't really get it and said "I can't hear that guy's singing", later there was a screamy bit and I said "can you hear him now?". Gary War were the last band on and quite good - kinda like surfy rock if it were being played underwater.
Jenna uploaded her ATP pictures at last so now as a nice interval, here are a few from that, two I took at christmas time and the last two I came across in a guy called Sam Fenn's photostream - he's at a lot of the Cry Parrot gigs and amusingly (in a sweet way) looks like a evern more youthful Michael Cera.
( Warning: Pictures of Meeee! )
I went to the doctor's yesterday. I can get the light treatment which should really help my skin but there's about a 5 week waiting list to start it. Still glad to be getting it though - why does my skin hate me? *sad* On the upside, my new camera came at last! It is lovely and chunky. I hope it works as well as my old Canon ones did (and doesn't randomly break into the bargian). I'll give it a proper try out when I go to see Dead Swans tonight.

This Is Your Home, This Is Where Your Life Lives
Dec. 26th, 2009 | 01:05 am
Christmas was fun this year. Izzy was high as a kite most of this week but she seemed to enjoy her day today and really like all her presents which I'm really glad about (she was trying to get us all to play Hungry Hippos right after dinner). We did the usual getting up and upening presents at home/ go over to my dads to see him, Cara and Teresa for a bit/ go home for dinner with Mum routine. It was relatively warm today and the snow started to thaw a bit to we had no problems going over to see my dad - I was glad about that.
I got some money from both my mum and dad - I do try to suggest things they should buy me instead but they cannot comprehend such items. I was planing to spend it on some underwear, a shelf for my room and maybe a book about animation but my camera seems to have stopped working for no reason tonight so... I don't know, I'll have a proper look at it in the morning. I've also wanted a graphics tablet for years now and never got round to getting one... who knows if I ever will.
I got a bunch of smaller items too, including a hat I really like (I actually bought it myself from the H&M sale and then wrapped it and a Dinosaur Jr. CD for Ava to give me for Christmas since she is utterly crap at present buying) and some USB fairy lights from Teresa. I initially thought the lights were a bit random but turns out are actually really useful since we don't have a working lamp in the bedroom I share with Ava and I can actually see what I'm doing now when I am still up using the computer and she has gone to bed. Teresa also got me some Christmassy shaped bits of wood which really are random and a bit weird. At first I thought they were festive rubber stamps, except they are just blocks of wood without rubber stamp bits on them. I'll have another look at them tomorrow as it has occurred to me they might be some kind of traditional puzzle thing... however I suspect this is rather optimistic thinking.
In between watching tv tonight (Doctor Who, The Royle Family, Gavin and Stacey), I have mainly been re-reading Optic Nerve comics and eating trifle. I must say I was loving the Master-fest in D. Who - I love that John Simm plays him, he's so wee and fiesty. Also, Spooks last night was ace - Harry really needs to sort out some new staff for next year though! I miss Ashes to Ashes, hopefully it will be back on sooooon.
Over the last few days I have mainly been doing Christmas shopping (I did mine, then had to go out and do the people Ava missed for her on Christmas eve - arg!), wrapping presents (apparently I'm the only person who can wrap in the household) and general tidying up. On Monday night Mark came round with ticket money he owed me from going to the Doctor Who thing last weekend and we went out to the garden with Izzy for an inpromptu sledging/ snowball session. We also did have a half arsed attempt at making a snowman but it really wasn't happening. Mark threw a snowball right at the base of my back because I was wearing annoying low waisted jeans and it all melted down my arsecrack - lovely stuff - oh how he laughed.

Well I'm back from ATP. I'm so sore I almost can't type but I had such an amazing time. So so so so so fun. A mega update will be forthcoming once I less resemble tenderized meat. Izzy's school concert is this afternoon which I will be attending with Mum. Hopefully I wont be doing much else today though.

Tenderbirds
Dec. 9th, 2009 | 08:39 pm
Hey kids, sorry for the no update or a few days, I have actually been very busy for once!
I'm leaving for ATP tomorrow night! So far I have packed clothes (except a pair of trousers I plan to buy tomorrow), games, unperishable food and most of the "other stuff" I need (plastic bowls, paper and pens, camera and charger, etc.). Tomorrow I am mainly going to be babysitting, making sandwiches and I also need to go into town to buy some toiletry stuff, afore mentioned trousers and some very much needed new trainers that Mum is paying for as a birthday prezzie - woop!
I HAVE to remember to send my TSUK secret santa gift tomorrow and also buy Izzy white tights to wear in the school Christmas show (all the P1s are to be dressed as angels). Otherwise I'm fairly sorted Christmas-wise somehow! I still have some presents to buy but have plenty of time to get them and anything that needed to be ordered online has been and should arrive in time.
OH, I went to see Hawnay Troof on Sunday night and it was so ace! The first support was Streets of Rage who is a Matt Dillon-ish punk guy with a guitar and a drum machine backing track doing some quite old school punky tunes by himself. The second support was The NIALLIST ("Glasgow's answer to Prince and Har Mar Superstar"). His second tune was a cover of Missy Elliott's 'Work It' and the last song of his 5 tune set was called 'I'm In Love With The Singer Of The Pet Shop Boys'. There was a lot of hip thrusting going on and it was very funny. Hawnay Troof was rad and amazingly energetic - particularly given it was the last night of the tour and he was clearly shattered. Sadly there was only like 20 people there since Ultimate Thrush were playing at Optimo that night and clearly most of the usual Cry Parrot gig mob had decided to go to that instead (which is no excuse since Optimo doesn't open 'til 11.30). The people who did attend were a good crowd though and I was chatting to a few of them before and between the acts (including the photographer guy who is at a lot of the Cry Parrot gigs). AND the guy from Blue Sabbath Black Fiji was there, which means that they are indeed a local band (or at least currently based in Glasgow) and I will hopefully get the chance to see them again soon - yayayay!!
( Anyway, photos. )

6 - I'm pretty sure I need glasses, I'm going to get my eyes tested after christmas.
7 - When I was only 6 or 7, I was mean to the boy who stayed upstairs from me and we weren't really friends after that. It happened about 17 years ago but I still feel guilty about it now!
I can't be arsed tagging anyone so... just do it if you really love me!

Ear Jewellery Wishlist - Updated

Ear jewellery wishlist... updated again.
No septum stuff for now as I'm not sure what size I'll go to with that in the end, however I am sadly the sort of person who would buy one of these.
I should do a collection post of stuff I already have sometime soon too.

And That's What Really Hurts
Dec. 3rd, 2009 | 12:00 pm
Woohoo, I feel so much better today! Still got a bit of a tickily throat/ cough but apart from that I'm feeling a milion dollahz! Booked tickets for me, Mark and Izzy to go to the Doctor Who exhibition (again!) last night. It was cheaper to buy a family ticket than individual ones so we actually have a spare so I think I'll ask Cara if she wants to go again. Apparently they've added a water spouting head and some costumes from the last special too. Better start getting ready to go meet this guy for lunch now - and find a way for my hair to not look like sin.

I Was Born In The Wagon Of A Travelin' Show
Dec. 2nd, 2009 | 07:56 pm
Aww man, I'm such a geek. I discovered the ATP stage times had been announced probably less than an hour ago and I've already made up highlighted timetables with who I want to see. During the same time I was also concentrating on buying a skirt on Ebay (River Island skirt of £4.04 inc postage - yay!).
( Click for geeky glory )
Kmac just emailed me with who she would like to see at ATP and the list is thankfully similar to my own, except on Saturday night where Battles clash with PORN and The Melvins (the latter of which I like but saw twice last year). Lightning Bolt in Reds at the end of the weekend is going to be fucking epic.
In other news, I have the cold. It's not a particularly nasty one, just feeling a big groggy and shite. Yesterday Ava couldn't be arsed going to college so she stayed off and bought us both pizza. Needless to say we ate too much and spent most of the afternoon in deathly pizza comas (broken up with periods of feeling a bit better and eating more pizza). Why do we always do this to ourselves - WHY? For much of the rest of the day, I looked online for a suitable swimming costume to take to ATP (ie one which covers as much of the bad skin on my mid and lower back as possible while still being non-ugly and not ridiculously pricy either). Hopefully I found one which is suitable though.

Gig List
Nov. 28th, 2009 | 02:55 pm
This is, to the best of my knowlege, a list of gigs I have been to. I'm sure a few are missing, certianly quite a few support acts are but it's close enough. I'm going to link it to my info page and update the list as required. Because I'm a nerd. There are pictures where I have them.

A Total Waste Of Time
Nov. 22nd, 2009 | 11:33 am
I just remembered Ava is going to a wedding tonight and my mum is working later so no Wavves for me. I'm all pumped about ATP though (less than 3 weeks to go now!!!) so I'm not too bummed about it, I'll just try and catch 'em next time. Before that I'm also considering seeing Gay for Johnny Depp, Ok Pilot, Monotonix, Trash Talk, Hawnay Troof (deffos want to go to this one) and Ultimate Thrush (playing at Optimo). I'm also going to Jenna's exhibition night on Tuesday and I dunno if Ben is doing anything for his birthday which is about 2 weeks away.
Yesterday I was over at Teresa and Cara's making jewellery with Cara and Izzy while Teresa went out to a craft fair for a few hours. Teresa's house is in utter chaos because she's having Cara's bedroom plastered and decorated so all the stuff from that room and the adjoining cupboard (they stay in a tenemant which have lovely enormous cupboards) is all over the house. Teresa is a bit of a hoarder so that is a LOT of stuff.
Unsure what I should do today; probably should take a trip into town but also might do some crafty stuff or sewing. I think I need to get glasses. I had them for reading when I was a kid but got out of the way of wearing them when I was a teenager (my eyes were supposed to improve with time and I found I could get by without them). My eyes get kind of tired when I'm doing something close-up, particularly when it's night or the light isn't very good. Anyway, think I'll get an eye test once I'm a bit more organised with christmas presents and stuff.

Such Thirst Doesn't Always Permit For Tact

music: Wavves - California Goths | Powered by Last.fm
Guess where I have been chicks and chickettes? I have been to see the Doctor Who exhibition on at the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Galleries - yay! Jenna was supposed to be going with her family but her mum has been really unwell for the past week and couldn't go so Jenna phoned me in the morning and offered me her spare ticket. Turns out I have been rather lucky because it looks like it's totally sold out now - which is a shame because my friend Mark and Ava and Izzy all wanted to go. It was mega fun and geekariffic too - woop woop! Luckily I carry my camera about with me pretty much all the time so there are plenty of pictures...
( Doctor Whooooo??? )
Izzy is taying over at Cara's house right now. Think I'm taking Cara for a while later so Teresa can get some "me" time since she's doing extra work tomorrow. I'm planning to taking Cara down to the fancy bead shop and then going back home and showing her how to make jewellery. It should be fun.
I want to go see Wavves tomorrow night but it looks like it might be quite a popular gig (well, judging from the last.fm gig page and considering that it's in the Captian's Rest which is fairly small) and I'm not sure if I should try and get tickets before rather than just rolling up and paying on the door. Probably if I get one on Sunday it'll be alright, I should get a Gay For Johnny Depp ticket while I'm at is since that gig is at the start of next week. I'm quite looking forward to Wavves, think it's gonna be good!

Fools Rush In
Nov. 19th, 2009 | 12:43 am
Lordi, I am tired BUT it is because I just booked the bus for me, Jenna, Kmac and Sheps to get down to Taunton for ATP!!! I am so relieved and also glad to have it all sorted. It was mental trying to decide how to get there, plus I ended up having to order coachcards for us all before booking any tickets so we could save a bit of cash. We were gonna get a bus down organised by ATP themselves but it sold out so we had to make alternative plans. Our bus is £25 cheaper (though a bit less swanky)mind you - I hope it is not too hellish. We will be in it for 11 and a half hours - joy! - but on the upside, we can hopefully sleep through most of it since its during the night on the way there (11pm - 10.30am) and on the way back we will be shattered from our festival reveling.
The government owed me some money which I got yesterday so I went shopping for winter clothes today - yay! I got a pair of boots (which were happily cheaper than I expected I would have to pay), two skirts and most of the rest was pairs of tights and basic tops. I want to cusomise some of the tops a bit but otherwise I'm excited to wear it all!
Also, today I was in Zara trying on some stuff - I thought they had like riding jodhpurs, the kind with the leathery bit on the inside of the thighs like Scorpio wears in Scorpio Rising - I was getting a bit carried away with the 'phwaarrr' concept of that but sadly they were noy quite the same (but I should totally get some real ones one day). Anyway, they only had the colours I liked best in 'small' and black ones in 'extra small' (I which I assumed I would need because I'm short and pretty skinny) but I actually could not get the XS ones on my legs! This has never happened to me with adult clothes before, I managed to get the 'small' ones on but it was not easy and I was kinda weirded out by the whole experiance - what kind of freakishly skinny women does Zara cater for anyway?
Oh I am tired and the laptop battery is going to give out so I better go to bed. I'll try to write more tomorrow, honest. x
p.s. - I do love Scorpio Rising and it has the best soundtrack ever, even if it is ironic. Check me out expressing my love with a sweet Scorpio userpic.

One Hand Will Wash The Other
Nov. 8th, 2009 | 12:02 pm
Izzy has the cold, aww. :( She's alright though, just a bit sniffley and has a cough. She seems a whole lot better even compared with yesterday so hopefully she's on the road to recovery already. Means she's hanging about here today though rather than going to her dad's. I'll have to think of something amusing for us to do later so we both don't go crazy and hyper.
Went to see Take A Worm For A Walk Week last night - they were having a fundraiser gig so they can finish mixing their album. It was good fun, I'd actually forgotten how fun that band are. They also seem to have well and truly given up their spandex stage costumes - which is probably for the best since at least 4/5ths of those guys are really not made for spandex.
Afterwards I went down to meet Jenna at the Vale because she and Martin were going to Slabs. I was offically too poor to go to Slabs but I said I'd go meet Jenna for a bit because the Vale is full of creepy old men. Plus, it turned out that it was just her and Martin going out and she wanted to avoid any awkwardness since they're not bf/gf anymore. Martin was working upstairs which is actually much nicer than the downstairs bit (it has a proper floor and everything). In the end he tried to convince me to come to Slabs by offering to pay me in so I had to say "Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnokay". the club night was much the same as usual, though I thought it was a bit quieter than the last few times I've been. Most people there seem to take the whole thing awfully seriously but me and Jenna always take full advantage of the opportunity to dance in the most stupid manner possible, ha.
Today my knees and bum hurt.
( Pictures, because there always are. )
Also, Kmac and Jenna have both already purchased their joint birthday present for me! Jenna says it is something small but very awesome and she wishes she had one for herself. I wonder what it could be?????
